Activities Such As:
Responsible for the overall accuracy and integrity of Taiwan financial records, making sure our books comply with both US GAAP, local statutory requirements, and management reporting
Business partnering with Taiwan Commercial and Finance teams
Drive continuous improvement of controls, procedures and systems for B-F Taiwan.
Communicate quantitative and qualitative information in a clear, accurate, and timely manner.

What You Can Expect
- Lead the Record to Report (R2R) function, ensuring financial statements comply with both US GAAP and local statutory reporting requirements.
- Drive accounting process efficiency and effectiveness in Taiwan through digital initiatives, partnering closely with the local business, corporate accounting, and information technology teams.
- Champion a robust internal control system by identifying control gaps, establishing local policies and processes, ensuring segregation of duties, and providing continuous compliance coaching.
- Oversee and ensure the complete and accurate submission of all direct and indirect tax return filings, serving as the key liaison with local tax authorities and external service providers.
- Partner with the Finance team as the primary subject matter expert for all accounting and tax queries in Taiwan to provide clarity behind the financial results and policies.
- Provide coaching and support as the matrix manager to AP & Credit analysts, ensuring seamless and efficient operations in partnership with the Global Business Services (GBS) Team Leads.
- Complete month-end closing processes, including preparing and reviewing general ledger reconciliations, resolving variances, and providing clear explanations on Balance Sheet Flux analytics.
What You Bring To The Table
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
- 3+ years of experience in an accounting function with similar core responsibilities.
- Demonstrated experience in local GAAP and tax regulations in Taiwan.
- Proficiency in working with SAP or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms.
- Verbal and written fluency in English.
- Strong interpersonal skills, high level of integrity, and trust.
