Senior Accountant (Accounts Receivable & Credit Risk)

Support global finance operations by managing billing, accounts receivable, collections, credit risk, and financial reporting, while ensuring accurate records, effective risk control, and compliance with accounting and tax requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Billing & AR

• Issue and review invoices accurately and on time
• Maintain customer billing and tax information in SAP
• Resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries

2. Collections

• Reconcile customer payments and monitor AR balances
• Prepare AR aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts
• Escalate collection issues and potential bad-debt risks

3. Closing & Reporting

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Prepare reconciliations, audit schedules, and tax supporting documents
• Participate in process improvements and system projects

4. Credit Management

• Review customer creditworthiness and recommend credit limits
• Monitor credit exposure, payment behavior, and credit insurance coverage
• Support credit risk assessment and reporting

Qualifications

Experience & Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5-8 years of accounting experience, preferably in AR or credit control

Skills & Competency

• Knowledge of accounting principles and ERP systems; SAP experience is preferred
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Good command of English

• Knowledge of EU VAT regulations
