Job Description

Overview

Our client, a leading global provider of international health and wellness solutions, is seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager to join its Singapore team.

This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of key corporate clients and strategic broker relationships across the region while serving as a deputy to the Team Lead. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving client retention, supporting business growth initiatives, mentoring junior team members, and delivering exceptional service to multinational clients.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of key corporate clients, multinational organizations, and intermediary partners.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client servicing matters, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and client meetings to understand evolving needs and identify opportunities for enhanced engagement.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including HR, Benefits, Mobility, and Procurement teams.

Broker & Partner Management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with broker partners and consultants.
  • Support broker engagement initiatives and collaborate on client retention and growth strategies.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to intermediaries on service, operational, and policy-related matters.

Strategic Account Development

  • Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships and support revenue growth initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Underwriting, Operations, and Product teams to deliver tailored solutions for clients.
  • Monitor account performance, renewal outcomes, and client trends to proactively address risks and opportunities.

Leadership & Team Support

  • Act as a deputy to the Team Lead and provide support in day-to-day team operations.
  • Mentor and guide junior Account Managers and Account Executives.
  • Support onboarding, knowledge sharing, and best practice initiatives within the team.
  • Assist management in driving service excellence, process improvements, and operational efficiency.

Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders across Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Finance, and Sales functions to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Manage escalations and complex client issues effectively and professionally.
  • Participate in strategic projects and business initiatives as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Account Management, Client Management, Relationship Management, or Corporate Servicing within the insurance or employee benefits industry.
  • Strong understanding of International Private Medical Insurance (IPMI), employee benefits, healthcare insurance, or corporate insurance solutions.
  • Proven experience managing multinational corporate clients and broker relationships.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and engage senior client stakeholders.
  • Experience mentoring or leading junior team members will be highly advantageous.
  • Commercially minded with strong problem-solving and relationship-building capabilities.
