The Role:

Entegris is seeking a 1st shift QA Analytical Chemist for our KSP facility. Monday-Friday 07:30am-16:30PM.

The QA Chemist is responsible for inline tools(LPC, IC, TOC) V&Q, daily maintenance and trouble shooting. He or She will also provide analytical support for production of our Micro-Contamination Control and Membrane products. The QA Chemist will prepare and test samples using ICP-MS, Ion Chromatography, TOC analysis, NVR, LC-CAD, GC-MS and GC-FID/MS.

In this role you will:

  • Conduct QA product testing of Filtration and Membrane products from manufacturing.
  • Follow and document standard operating procedures for conducting required tests.
  • Set up analytical standards, reagent mixes and/or deliver production chemicals used in testing process.
  • Analyze and interpret test data, maintain documentation of test operations and ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot testing equipment.
  • Remove and dispose waste chemicals in accordance with company established safety procedures.
  • Handle customer requests appropriately and in a timely manner.

Traits we believe make a strong candidate:

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related scientific discipline and at least 1 year of relative work experience is required; strong internship/co-op experience in a related field will be considered.
  • A strong scientific approach and high attention to detail are key to success in this role.
  • Ability to collaborate and successfully work in a team environment while completing individual projects is required.
  • ICP MS, HPLC, and GC FID/MS experiences are preferred.
  • Experience with a LIMs (Labware) system is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a laboratory environment is preferred.
  • Some exposure to an ISO 9000 work environment is preferred.
