School of Applied Science - Lecturer/Senior Lecturer (Biomedical Science)[What you will be working on]
Lecturer will undertake curriculum development and delivery of diploma-related modules as well as be involved in applied science-based research projects. Candidates should possess relevant work or research experience in the Life Science/Biomedical Science Industry.
Job Responsibilities:
. Teach relevant subjects in pre-employment and continuing education training programmes
. Design and develop course materials for pre-employment and continuing education training programmes
. Lead or participate in consultancy and research projects
. Supervise students for projects
. Mentor and assist in tracking students academic and non-academic performance
. Partake in administrative duties related to the diploma course or within the school
. Deliver planned curriculum for continuing education training programmes on scheduled weekday evenings or weekends and participate in assessment activities
[What we are looking for]
. Relevant qualification in the field of Life Science/Biomedical Science-related disciplines.
. Candidates should possess at least five years of relevant work experience in areas related to Molecular and Cellular Biology, Genetics, Biomedical Informatics, Bioinformatics, Health Informatics and/or Omics.
. Relevant experience with Generative AI, Data Analytics and Sustainability will be advantageous.
. Candidates should have strong industry links and exposure, with experience in related sectors.
. Candidates should be interested in strengthening the institute's professional network in the Biomedical Science sector
. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build strong working relationships with people at all levels.
. Proficient in IT, planning and organising skills.
