School Development Officer II(s) / Assistant School Development Officer(s)
The appointee(s) will work for the Quality Education Fund (QEF)/ Standing Committee on Language Education and Research (SCOLAR) projects on English Language for local schools.
For the post of School Development Officer II(s):
The appointee(s) will be responsible for (a) managing, planning, and organising project activities (b) liaising with QEF/SCOLAR-related organisations and different stakeholders (c) collecting data, drafting reports, and producing project deliverables and (d) supervising and co-ordinating the work of the project team members.
Applicants should have/be (i) a Bachelor's degree with at least 6 years post-qualification teaching experience or relevant experience in the education field OR a postgraduate degree (e.g. Master's degree or PhD) in Education with 4 years post-qualification relevant work experience (ii) a qualified English teacher (iii) adequate experience in curriculum planning and project implementation and (iv) familiarity with e-Learning/AI, English reading, writing, and social and emotional learning (SEL) skills.
For the post of Assistant School Development Officer(s):
The appointee(s) will be responsible for (a) managing, planning, and organising project activities (b) liaising with QEF-related organisations and different stakeholders and (c) collecting data, drafting reports, and producing project deliverables.
Applicants should have/be (i) a Bachelor's degree (ii) a qualified English teacher and (iii) at least 2 years post-qualification teaching experience, OR a higher degree (e.g. Master's degree or PhD) in Education. Having knowledge of e-Learning/AI, English reading, writing and SEL skills is preferred.
Appointment will initially be made on a 1-year contract commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
