Job Description

Are you passionate about renewable energy and eager to work at the forefront of the global energy transition PEAK Wind is seeking a SCADA Network Engineerto ensure best-in-class deliverables for our clients and build a bridge between technical, commercial, and operational OT and SCADA assets.

Introducing the SCADA & Cyber Security Team

You will become part of our diverse SCADA & Cyber Security team, working across multiple locations and bringing together mixed seniorities and nationalities. We collaborate in a highly supportive and knowledge‑sharing environment, ensuring strong alignment across disciplines. SCADA & Cyber Security are key focus areas for our clients and receive increasing attention on both greenfield and brownfield projects. As a team, we work across different technical and operational domains to ensure seamless integration, operation, and cyber security of OT, ICS, and SCADA systems, helping our clients strengthen the resilience and performance of their assets.

You will report to the Head of SCADA & Cyber Security and work closely with colleagues across different areas.

How You Will Make an Impact

As a SCADA Network Engineer, you will contribute to the success of our clients and renewable energy projects. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Design and maintain SCADA and communication networks, including LAN, WAN, fibre, radio and backbone systems across operational and developing wind farms.
  • Define and challenge network and communication requirements with clients, contractors and OEMs to ensure solutions are fit for purpose and aligned with project objectives.
  • Support and coordinate the delivery of communication systems throughout project development, construction and operations, ensuring requirements are met on time and to the required quality.
  • Support and troubleshoot network equipment and communication links between turbines, substations and control centres to maximise system reliability and availability.
  • Collaborate across scopes to integrate industrial communication protocols and deliver secure, resilient network solutions across the asset lifecycle.

  • A degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Cyber Security, Computer Science or IT
  • Professional experience in the energy industry or another complex environment

  • A structured approach to problem-solving and the ability to take initiative
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in an international, cross-functional team
  • Experience with commissioning is considered an advantage but not a requirement
