Job Description

Brief Summary

We are in search of a Senior Data Design Lead to spearhead the end-to-end data design and migration strategy for SAP SuccessFactors implementations. This role will focus on ensuring data accuracy and alignment across various HR domains.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the data mapping processes to facilitate the transfer from SAP ECC to SAP SuccessFactors, ensuring data integrity and compatibility. Develop and implement detailed migration strategies, including data validation and reconciliation processes for successful onboarding. Oversee the extraction, cleansing, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data, ensuring accurate historical and master data migration. Collaborate with HR, IT, Payroll, and Compliance teams to gather and validate data requirements, addressing mapping challenges and aligning solutions with business objectives. Translate business specifications into technical data documentation and lead design workshops and governance forums. Provide leadership and guidance to data migration teams, resolving complex issues and fostering continuous improvement initiatives. Implement best practices in data governance, cleansing, transformation, and testing to deliver high-quality results compliant with data privacy and regulatory requirements. Develop clear documentation, including mapping documents, migration plans, and transformation specifications for future reference.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. A minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP HCM / SuccessFactors, with hands-on expertise in data model design and migration projects. In-depth understanding of SAP ECC HR data structures and SuccessFactors configuration. Experience in managing complex HR transformation projects within large, multi-functional teams. Proficiency in migration and ETL tools (e.g., SAP Migration Cockpit, Integration Center). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.
