Position Impact:
This role is critical for ensuring the stability, performance, and security of our enterprise infrastructure. You will manage a hybrid environment encompassing SAP systems, on-premises servers, and cloud deployments. This position bridges the gap between system administration and application performance, supporting vital business functions through robust backup, recovery, and auditing practices.
Responsibility:
SAP Basis & Database Administration
- Perform end-to-end SAP system administration, including installation, configuration, and monitoring of SAP application and database servers (MSSQL/Oracle).
- Manage database operations, focusing on performance tuning, backup/restore procedures, and integrity checks.
- Execute system copies, upgrades, and support package applications (SP Stack).
Infrastructure & Network Management
- Administer on-premises servers (Windows/Linux) and virtualization platforms (VMware).
- Oversee network operations, including Firewall management, VPN, IP routing, and internetworking to ensure high availability.
- Support deployment and scaling processes across environments (AWS, SAP, Mobile platforms).
Operational Excellence & Support
- Provide 2nd-tier technical support for Helpdesk escalations and infrastructure incidents.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts and prepare detailed incident reports with root cause analysis (RCA).
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee project delivery to ensure alignment with business goals.
Requirement:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Network Support, System Administration, or SAP Basis.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Proficiency in Linux/Windows Server and VMware administration.
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking, Firewalls, and VPN configurations.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Basis operations and Database management (MSSQL or Oracle).
