SAP ABAP / SAP PO Technical Consultant (S/4 HANA Integration)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SAP ABAP solutions for SAP ECC and SAP S/4 HANA environments.
• Support SAP implementation, rollout, stabilization, migration, and enhancement activities.
• Design and develop: Custom reports, Upload programs, Smart Forms and Adobe Forms, Enhancements and interfaces
• Develop and support integrations using: SAP PO/PI, REST interfaces, RFC, IDOC, OData APIs, File-based integrations
• Support inbound and outbound integrations between SAP and external systems such as: Banking systems, Warehouse Management Systems, Call Center Systems, SMS Gateway platforms, Third-party enterprise applications
• Develop and maintain SAP enhancement solutions using: BADI, User Exits, CMOD, BTE, Substitution and Validation techniques
• Support HANA-based development activities including CDS Views and AMDP.
• Develop functionality to support business processes involving finance, treasury, logistics, and inventory operations.
• Perform debugging, issue analysis, and defect resolution for existing SAP custom developments and interfaces.
• Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and integration troubleshooting activities.
• Support data migration and rollout activities across multiple SAP environments.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to development and interface solutions.
• Provide post-go-live warranty and operational support for implemented solutions.

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Proven experience supporting SAP S/4 HANA implementation or rollout projects.
• Experience developing enhancement solutions using BADI, CMOD, User Exits, BTE, and related techniques.
• Working experience in HANA-based development including CDS Views and AMDP.
• Familiarity with SAP modules such as FICO and Treasury.
• Experience supporting middleware and third-party system integrations.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and enterprise delivery practices.

Preferred Experience

• Experience supporting SAP rollout and stabilization projects.
• Exposure to SAP migration activities across company codes or business units.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, retail, steel, fertilizer, or finance-related SAP environments.
• Experience working in multi-system enterprise integration environments.
