We are seeking a dynamic and results-drive Sales Vice President for a multinational company. This role will be responsible for driving the sales strategy, growth, and revenue generation across the Asia region, reporting to the corporate Chief Sales Officer. Our client requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of the PC/NB/Server industry, a strong network within the technology sector in Taiwan and Mainland China, and the ability to work closely with both regional teams and global headquarters to align on objectives and ensure excellence in execution.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy & Leadership:
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for Taiwan and Mainland China, focusing on key verticals, strategic accounts, and market expansion. Lead and manage a high-performing sales team across the region, providing mentorship and guidance to drive results. Establish and implement KPIs, sales processes, and best practices to ensure the team meets and exceeds its sales targets.
2. Customer Satisfaction & Account Retention:
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive relationship management and support. Work closely with customer success, support, and product teams to resolve issues quickly and maintain long-term partnerships. Implement customer feedback loops to drive continuous improvement in service and offerings.
3. Business Development & Market Share Expansion:
Identify new business opportunities and expand the company's market presence in Greater China. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners to drive long-term growth. Act as the face of the company in key industry events and trade shows within the region.
4. Revenue Growth & P&L Management:
Oversee the sales funnel, ensuring efficient lead generation, qualification, and conversion processes. Establish rigorous forecasting processes to deliver accurate and predictable sales projections, supporting strategic decision-making and resource planning. Monitor and report on sales performance, revenue growth, and market trends to the executive leadership team. Drive revenue growth through a combination of new business acquisition and existing account expansion. Maintain responsibility for regional sales P&L, ensuring profitability and alignment with corporate financial goals.
5. Collaboration with U.S. Headquarters:
Serve as the regional liaison with the U.S. headquarters to align on corporate objectives, sales strategies, and product roadmaps. Communicate regional market needs, trends, and feedback to help shape global strategy and offerings. Coordinate cross-border initiatives and ensure consistency in messaging, branding, and value delivery across markets.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Operations teams to align sales strategies with product offerings, go-to-market plans, and customer needs. Ensure the sales team is fully equipped with the necessary tools, resources, and training to succeed.
7. Cultural and Regional Understanding:
Develop an in-depth understanding of the cultural and business dynamics of Greater China to successfully navigate local markets. Manage and mitigate any challenges related to regional regulatory or operational issues. Ensure the sales team aligns with the company's values and mission while tailoring approaches for local market needs.
