Job Description
Develop and execute Manufacturing-tailored sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets, effectively managing complex sales cycle demands unique to manufacturing clients.
Build and sustain a high-quality sales pipeline while educating manufacturing customers on solution value propositions, pricing models, and competitive differentiators that address their core pain points.
Cultivate and maintain long-term, trusted relationships with key manufacturing stakeholders, including C-level executives, production managers, plant directors, and industrial IT leaders, to drive recurring business and cross-sell opportunities.
Analyze manufacturing market trends, industry policy, and competitor activities to identify untapped opportunities, and adapt sales strategies proactively to capitalize on emerging industry needs.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional to ensure alignment on manufacturing client requirements, enabling seamless solution delivery and customer satisfaction.
Lead and participate in sales negotiations with manufacturing clients, leveraging deep industry insights to address objections and contribute to successful deal closings.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Management, Marketing, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and hands-on Manufacturing sales experience.
7+ years of relevant professional experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a Manufacturing-focused sales role.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in the manufacturing industry, with demonstrable experience in sales enablement and pipeline management.
Expertise in developing industry-specific sales strategies, customer relationship management, and manufacturing market analysis.
A self-driven continuous learner who stays updated on manufacturing industry trends, emerging technologies and industry best practices.
Other Qualifications:
Advanced degree (Master's in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field) is a plus.
Relevant certifications are a plus, including Certified Sales Professional (CSP), Certified Sales Enablement Professional (CSEP), or Manufacturing-specific credentials (e.g., Certified Manufacturing Professional (CMfgP), Industrial 4.0 Certification, Lean Six Sigma Certification).
