Job Description:
Sales Volume Planning & Revenue Management (Strategic, Tactical & Operational):
Conduct short-term, tactical, and strategic new car production and sales volume planning
Balance demand and supply across wholesale and retail levels while ensuring efficient stock management and support sustainable target achievement
Steer the new car revenue by optimizing the model mix of new car sales volume and steering of new car option sales incl. Exclusive options
Coordinate and support dealer sales planning, quota allocation, and short-term quota request process
Evaluate and continuously refine planning premises and assumptions including the monitoring of homologation timelines
Develop and deploy strategic recommendations to management based on scenario analyses
Lead sales performance target discussions and negotiations with central functions
Reporting, Performance Management & Governance :
Coordinate and develop micro- and macro-reporting for management and retail partners incl. daily, monthly, and ad-hoc sales reports, performance analysis, and management presentations
Develop Dealer Business Plan target scheme and facilitate performance measurement
Continuously develop KPIs, reporting standards, and data governance
Tactical Market Activation Management:
Manage the annual sales incentive (INC) budget and develop a market activation strategy by leading and supervising the respective team members
Guide and support preparation of INC budget planning & reporting in collaboration with multiple internal stakeholders
Team Leadership & Strategic Project Contribution
Lead, coordinate, and develop the Sales Planning & Reporting team and foster effective collaboration with internal and central functions as well as the retail partners.
Lead work packages in strategic projects and drive continuous improvement of processes, tools, and methodologies
Job Requirements:
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Economics, or a comparable discipline
Several years of professional experience in sales planning, reporting, analytics, or comparable commercial functions, ideally in the automotive industry or a similarly complex, data-driven environments
Proven experience working with business intelligence tools, relational databases, and performance management systems
Experience in team leadership, project management, or functional lead roles preferred
Fluent in English, written and spoken
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g. complex analysis, scenario modeling, data validation & visualization)
Strong proficiency in PowerPoint with the ability to create concise, management-ready presentations
Strong analytical, structured, and solution-oriented thinking
Strong communication, reasoning, and presentation skills across hierarchical levels
High level of integrity, compliance awareness, and accountability
Team-oriented working attitude and intercultural awareness
Ability to manage complexity, set priorities, and drive topics independently
