Job Responsibitlies:
Regional Strategy & Leadership:
- Develop and execute the overall commercial strategy for the IC and TAVI business and New business development ( Robotic & ECMO etc.) in Taiwan to achieve sales growth and market share objectives.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the local sales team and/or distributor network.
Portfolio Management:
- Drive commercial success for the MicroPort IC & TAVI product and new business developments ( Robotic & ECMO etc.) portfolio across Taiwan
- Identify and prioritize key market opportunities for portfolio expansion within the structural heart and coronary intervention sectors.
Key Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and nurture strategic relationships with cardiologists, interventionalists, key opinion leaders (KOLs) in structural heart, major cardiac centers, and healthcare stakeholders.
- Represent MicroPort at relevant national and regional cardiology and structural heart conferences, symposiums, and medical events including Robotic conferences
Business Operations & Channel Excellence:
- Oversee distributor management, ensuring performance alignment, effective product and procedural training, and compliance with company policies.
- Implement robust business processes for sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance reporting.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with Marketing, Clinical Affairs, Training, and Regulatory teams to adapt and implement regional initiatives and support market development activities.
- Provide critical market feedback and competitive intelligence to global headquarters to influence product development and commercial strategies.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years of medical device sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, specifically within IC, Structural Heart, or TAVI in the Taiwan Market, including Robotic business preferred
- Deep understanding of Taiwan cardiac healthcare landscape, including catheter lab operations, hospital procurement processes, and the regulatory environment for IC & TAVI devices.
- Documented success in building and managing high-performing sales teams and/or distributor networks. Channel Management Experience is preferred.
- Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken) and Mandarin.
- Ability and willingness to travel frequently within Taiwan
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree in a related field (Business, Life Sciences) is preferred.
