Job Description

Summary:

The Sales Executive is to manage a set of assigned target sales accounts in the Singapore market. This includes providing technical and commercial support to the assigned target account and constantly committed to improve our customer service levels. Managing Sales Activities of the Country's product portfolio to the assigned target customers in consultation with the Reporting Manager with the objective of achieving the sales budgets, profitability and assigned key tasks.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Achieve allocated individual/Country's assigned Industry segment/account Sales Target as well as organize, plan, and manage the Sales activities (Customer Visits and Engagement) of LAPP product in Singapore.
  • To manage and monitor customer and product information in the SAP database.
  • To manage and ensure the Customer Relationship Management system (CRM - C4C) is used as per Company's guidelines and policies.
  • Conduct sales by prospecting, qualifying and generating sales via outdoor sales activities.
  • Manage Customer Visits and engagement by proactive contact of existing and potential customers.
  • Manage requests for information and online presentations.
  • To identify appropriate contacts, qualify and drive leads through the sales process.
  • Provide commercial and technical collaboration to customers.
  • Understand customers nature of business, purchasing behavior and company structure/key contacts, and formulate the solution/product through efficient technical and commercial service/support to help customer solve their problem or meet their goals/tasks with LAPP Products and Solutions.
  • Create and maintain the reputation of the products and increase LAPP brand awareness in the market.
  • Maintain good rapport and close relationship with assigned target account to gain clear understanding of customer needs through sales activities.
  • Create and maintain fair, democratic, and good working environment with all team members.
  • Compliance to corporate policy and seek clarification whenever in doubt from immediate supervisor.
  • Any other tasks as assigned by Reporting Manager.

Qualification and Competencies:

  • Diploma preferably in Electrical and Electronics. Bachelor's Degree would be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience, preferably in Outdoor Sales and in Industrial Sales.
  • Able to work independently, responsible and as a team player
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of Incoterms and Commercial Terms.
  • Computer literate, proficient in MS Office applications and CRM.
  • Working knowledge of SAP SD will be an added advantage.
