Key Responsibilities
What you'll do on a typical day:
- Promote and sell PERI formwork, shoring, and scaffolding systems in the Taiwan market.
- Develop new customers and expand the civil and construction sectors to increase market share.
- Monitor major tenders and project progress, analyze award results, and formulate sales strategies.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and build long-term partnerships.
- Review and analyze construction drawings to propose initial technical solutions for formwork and shoring systems.
- Prepare quotations, explain commercial and contractual terms to customers, and follow up on the contract signing process.
- Track project progress and sales forecasts using Excel and internal systems, and provide regular reports.
- Coordinate with operations including Customer Services, Logistic & Yard Operations and Engineering teams to ensure smooth material preparation, delivery, and project execution.
- Participate in local exhibitions, meetings and marketing events to enhance brand awareness and market visibility.
- Attend regular business meetings (Pipeline, Demand Planning, Project Schedule) to ensure successful project execution and achieve personal and company objectives.
What You'll Need To Be Successful
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Requirements:
- Familiar with construction materials and the engineering industry, with the ability to read technical drawings (AutoCAD 2D).
- Knowledge of formwork, shoring, and scaffolding systems is a strong advantage.
- Strong presentation skills and effective business communication abilities.
- Proficient in the full Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
- Holds a valid driver's license and can travel within Taiwan.
- Outgoing personality, comfortable communicating with new customers, with strong articulation, initiative, and stress tolerance.
- Logical thinking, capable of working independently, and able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in selling construction materials, engineering products, or technical solutions.
- Proficiency in business English, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
