Your Job
You will be responsible for driving sales development activities to promote Molex products through strategic marketing campaigns and customer engagement. This includes identifying new markets and opportunities, supporting design and development efforts, managing sales pipelines using Salesforce, and collaborating with various stakeholders to secure business wins. Your role also involves pricing strategy support, building strong customer relationships, managing project qualifications, and coordinating internal and external resources to ensure successful revenue conversion and customer satisfaction.
Our Team
You will be part of the Sales Development team reporting to the Sales Development Manager or Sales Manager. The team works closely with Molex authorized distributors, global product managers, business divisions, Molex Marcom, production planning teams, and finance to grow Molex's footprint and profitability across regional customers and key accounts. The team focuses on distribution management, maintaining strong customers and developing new business opportunities.
What You Will Do
- Managed distribution and supported strategic customer fulfilment.
- Build strong relationships with key customer decision-makers and partner distributors to grow customer mindshare.
- Close collaboration with internal Global OEM and ODM team to secure Molex business awards and partner as one team to grow Molex's shares.
- Conduct regional customer mapping with distributors to continuously identify new business opportunities and focus customers.
- Assist with design and development tasks by preparing RFQ packages and making sure Molex products are listed as preferred vendors in customer BOMs.
- Provide customers with relevant technical documentation and samples to secure design and business wins.
- Maintain and update sales opportunities and pipeline records in Salesforce to track progress and forecast demand.
- Prepare and conduct sales calls, customer visits, regular business reviews, and sales reporting to provide market and industry insights.
- Collaborate on pricing strategies, RFQ bidding, price negotiations, and deal management to optimize profitability and competitiveness.
- Collaborate closely with Molex Marcom team in building Molex brand awareness, organizing Tech Day engagement and on-site marketing campaigns such as exhibition.
- Cross functional engagement to support supply assurance and quality issue management aims to achieve better customer satisfaction.
- Utilize internal sales systems to track project statuses, forecast customer demand, and coordinate with planning teams for supply support.
- Manage product qualification and customer requirements to ensure successful project conversions and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
- Analyze order trends and inventory status to ensure sufficient backlog and coordinate product change notifications and compliance documentation.
- Negotiate sales and development contracts, including terms and conditions related to payment and shipping, while addressing AR and tariff issues with Finance.
- Embrace and promote corporate PBM guiding principles and cultural values through contribution and motivation.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Minimum 2-3 years of sales experience in the electronics industry, with a strong track record in account management and managing regional customers.
- Equipped with skill at developing connections with industry decision-makers and influencers.
- Experience with design-in processes involving OEMs/ODMs is an advantage.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external customers.
- Proficient in organizational skills, capable of anticipating, planning, and managing workload independently.
- Skilled in presentation and negotiation, able to deliver clear and effective communications to customers and stakeholders.
- Good computer literacy, including working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word processing software. Familiarity with SAP and Salesforce tools is advantageous.

- Proficiency in English and Mandarin to support regional engagement and communication.
- Experience using SAP and Salesforce system tools to enhance sales process efficiency.
- Previous exposure to pricing optimization strategies and collaboration with global product and business teams.
