The incumbent is responsible for achieving sales targets and margins, be involved from initiation to completion of sales cycles with particular focus on maintenance sales, the incumbent will ensure high level of client engagement and identify development potential in existing accounts. Good customer management, strong communication skills and being willing to work in a team are key to the success of this role.
Responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets and margins by generating recurring maintenance / variation orders through both existing and ongoing projects. The sales leads may come from referrals or tendering platforms such as Gebiz and Sesami. Preparation of sales presentations and provision of all sales related reports.
- Sales closure through new projects by providing sound technical solutions and advice to clients upon review of tender documents. Incumbent will be required to work closely with vendors and internal pre-sales team on this aspect of the role.
- Involved in sales initiation to completion by following up on business opportunities via email/ sales presentations, qualifying potential, provision of relevant quotes to clients promptly and follow through of sales cycle to ensure smooth completion.
- Increase client engagement by following up proactively on enquiries, identifying clients needs, working closely with pre-sales consultants to build long term relationships with clients and maintain continuous businesses with existing and new clients.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction by striving for excellent customer service in terms of technical and sales aspects, resolving issues arising from technical issues, logistics issues such as shipment delays to facilitate smooth transactions of clients requirements.
- Identify development potential in accounts by studying the current business and project needs, be constantly updated on products entering the market and participating or self-initiate marketing events or promotions & par.
Requirements
Essential:
- Diploma in any discipline or its equivalent
- Min 5 years working experience with sales related background
- Ability to continuously develop prospects, leads, and new sales opportunities
- Strong interpersonal, customer management and communication skills
- A good team player with the ability to multi-task
- Outspoken and people-orientated
- Driven, self-motivated and ability to work independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Preferred:
- Experience / knowledge in security systems or related industry will be an added advantage
- Preferably possess own vehicle
