Job Summary

Drive sales growth by promoting ASTAR's flexible packaging materials locally and regionally. Identify prospects, build strong client relationships, and execute sales strategies to exceed targets in a fast-paced trading environment.

Responsibilities

• Promote and generate sales of ASTAR's flexible packaging materials in Singapore and South East Asia to expand market presence
• Conduct market research, prospecting, and networking to identify and source potential clients
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers to foster long-term business growth
• Formulate and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets
• Follow up on leads, inquiries, and quotations to ensure timely deal closures and maximize revenue
• Address and resolve customer concerns professionally to maintain high satisfaction and loyalty

Required competencies and certifications

• Possess a Class 3 driving license to support client visits and business development activities

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, or Packaging
• Minimum 2 years of sales experience, preferably in packaging, manufacturing, or related industries
• Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and manage client relationships effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software to manage sales pipelines and customer data
• Fluent in English and Mandarin to communicate effectively with diverse clients

• Location: North of Singapore
• Working Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm
