Role Overview
ASUS is seeking a detail-oriented, tech-savvy APAC Technical/Product PR Specialist to serve as the regional backbone for product story execution and media reviews. In this role, you will report directly to the APAC Communications Manager, bridging Global HQ product marketing with local market PR teams across 15+ APAC countries.
You will act as the technical subject matter expert within the regional communications team, translating complex product specifications, architecture, and benchmarks into compelling, media-ready briefing toolkits and review guides. If you have a passion for PC hardware/technology and excel at cross-market execution, this is your platform to impact product launches regionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Content & Toolkits: Translate complex product specs and benchmarks into actionable briefing materials, media review guides, and Q&A documents for regional PR execution.
- Cross-Market Seeding & Launch Alignment: Coordinate launch timelines and review sample logistics across APAC markets, ensuring local teams have the technical assets needed for synchronized GTM execution.
- HQ & Local Alignment: Serve as the central technical liaison between Global HQ product teams and local PR/Tech PR leads, ensuring messaging consistency while empowering local market adaptation.
- Seeding & Review Tracking: Track regional tech media review waves, monitor product coverage quality, and analyze sentiment to inform ongoing content refinement.
- Ecosystem & Partner Integration: Align product PR narratives with key tech ecosystem partners (e.g., Intel, AMD, NVIDIA, Qualcomm, Microsoft) during co-marketing launch windows.

- Professional Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in product PR, technical marketing, or tech media/review publishing within the PC hardware, semiconductor, or consumer electronics sectors.
- Technical Aptitude: Strong ability to parse architecture spec sheets, benchmark data, and technical features, translating them into accessible media narratives.
- Execution & Rigor: Highly organized self-starter capable of managing review sample logistics, embargo timelines, and multi-market content deployment under tight GTM deadlines.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Proven capability to coordinate across cross-functional teams, collaborating smoothly with HQ Product Managers and in-market PR leads.
- Language & Communication: Fluent in English and Chinese (written and spoken) to seamlessly bridge Global HQ communications with regional stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Tech Reviewer / Media Background: Prior experience as a technology journalist, hardware reviewer, or tech agency account executor focused on PC/mobile hardware.
- Review Logistics & Monitoring: Familiarity with embargo management, review sample seeding workflows, or media monitoring tools.
