CRO seeks a Sr Engineer, R&D Software Engineering to provide software design, development, and application support for CRO products while adhering to departmental SOPs. In addition, will contribute to the architecture of the products and the development process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Sr Engineer R&D Software Engineering will provide software design, development, and application support for CRO products whilst adhering to departmental SOPs.

The Sr Engineer R&D Software Engineering will provide software design, development, and application support for the TAP (Trial Application Platform) for both currently released software, and new features.

Tap is a SaaS web application and serves clients across the globe. We are a remote team creating web software to manage the different phases of clinical trials. Our team consists of experts working on the full life cycle of product development.

We focus on flexibility; our platform allows almost any configuration, covering client needs without additional development efforts while following strict industry regulations. Doctors, nurses, managers, and many other roles all over the globe use our platform to manage clinical trials led by world-famous pharmaceutical companies.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor's degree in computer science (or equivalent professional experience & training)
• 5+ years of professional experience working on enterprise level projects
• Deep level understanding of Ruby and Rails (RoR)
• Deep level understanding of SOLID principles and MVC architecture.
• Knowledge of SQL, Background processes (e.g Sidkiq).
• Version Control Proficiency with Git and platforms like GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
• Testing & Debugging Experience with RSpec, MiniTest, and debugging tools like Pry or Byebug.
• APIs & Web Services Building and consuming RESTful APIs; experience with GraphQL is a plus.
• Experience working in a collaborative Agile team and the ability to work with a cross-functional product development team.
• Excellent communication skills (English), both written and verbal, and a strong sense of urgency in meeting deadlines and prioritizing multiple tasks.
• Demonstrable experience in AWS
• Demonstrable experience in CI/CD
