Role Overview
We are looking for a Risk & Data Analyst to support a new financial technology business line. The role will focus on data monitoring, calculation, risk exposure tracking, performance reporting and management analysis.
This is suitable for a fresh graduate or junior candidate who is strong with numbers, careful with data, and interested to learn about financial markets, risk management and digital finance operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform data analysis and prepare regular monitoring reports.
- Calculate performance, return, exposure, utilisation and other risk indicators.
- Track market data, business metrics and abnormal movements.
- Assist in preparing daily, weekly and monthly management reports.
- Support risk threshold monitoring and exception reporting.
- Maintain calculation worksheets, data records and supporting documents.
- Assist in reviewing new business opportunities from a data and risk perspective.
- Support dashboard development and process improvement.
- Escalate unusual trends, errors or data discrepancies to management.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong Excel skills are required.
- Basic Python, SQL, Power BI or data dashboard skills will be an advantage.
- Good numerical ability and attention to detail.
- Able to work with data, reports and calculations independently.
- Good written English for reporting purposes.
- Interest in financial technology, financial markets or digital finance is an advantage.
