JOB PURPOSE

The Retail Operations Manager is responsible for driving store performance and operational excellence across Singapore DTC stores, ensuring a consistently premium customer experience and strong commercial results. The role leads day-to-day retail operations, develops store teams, and ensures high standards in execution, while also supporting retail initiatives and best practice implementation to create Singapore Retail the Center Of Excellence.

This position requires a strong balance of hands-on leadership, commercial acumen, and structured thinking to translate business objectives into impactful store actions and scalable retail practices.

RESPONSIBILITES

Retail Operations

  • Manage and optimize the day-to-day operations of all Singapore DTC stores, ensuring seamless execution and a consistently premium customer experience.

Business Performance

  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), evaluate store results, and implement actions to drive revenue growth, profitability, and operational excellence

Business Planning

  • Support annual and seasonal business planning, including sales targets, store-level forecasting, and action plans to achieve commercial objectives

Campaign Execution

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to execute impactful retail campaigns and in-store activations that enhance traffic and conversion

Process Optimization:

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve SOPs to enhance operational efficiency, compliance, and consistency across the store network

Team Leadership:

  • Develop, coach, and inspire Store Managers to deliver strong commercial results while fostering a customer-centric culture.
  • Conduct performance appraisal, identify and address the needs and performance gap of employees.
  • Partner with Training team to drive Retail Excellence

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with HR, Finance, Merchandising, and Marketing teams to address operational challenges and support overall store performance.
  • Work with inventory team to manage and maintain healthy inventory levels at retail levels.
  • Drive ad-hoc project to support the regional Ops team.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Diploma / bachelor's degree in business or related disciplines
  • 5–8+ years of experience in retail operations ideally in fashion, footwear, or lifestyle industries.
  • Proven track record managing multi-store networks with full ownership of performance
  • Experience in driving store KPIs (conversion, ATV, UPT, productivity)
  • Possess a positive mindset, energy and passion for excellence
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and presentation skills.
  • Regional exposure is a plus.
