Job Description & Requirements
We are looking for a Restaurant Managerto lead all aspects of ourbusiness. You willdeliver a high-quality menu and motivateour staff to provide excellent customer service.
Restaurant Manager responsibilities include maintaining the restauranrevenue, profitability and quality goals.You will ensure efficientrestaurantoperation, as well as maintain high production, productivity,quality, andcustomer-service standards.
To be successful in this role, you'll needmanagement skills andexperience in both front and back of the house. We want youto knowhow to oversee the dining room,check-in with customers andbalanceseating capacity. Back of the house management experience isalso essential,as you'll hire qualified Cooks and Wait Staff, set workschedules, oversee foodprep and make sure we comply with healthandsafety restaurant regulations.
We'll expect you to lead by example and up lift our sta! during busymoments inour fast-paced environment. Ultimately,you will ensure ourrestaurant runssmoothly and customers have pleasantdiningexperiences
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily Front of the Houseand Back of the House restaurant operations
- Deliver superior service and maximizecustomer satisfaction
- Respond efficiently and accurately tocustomer complaints
- Regularly review product quality andresearch new vendorsOrganizand supervise shifts
- Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improveproductivity
- Estimate future needs for goods,kitchen utensils and cleaningproducts
- Ensure compliance with sanitationand safety regulations
- Manage restaurant's good image andsuggest ways to improve it
- Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
- Create detailed reports on weekly,monthly and annual revenues aexpenses
- Promote the brand in the local community through word-ofmouthand restaurant events
- Recommend ways to reach a broaderaudience (e.g. discounts andsocialmedia ads)Train new and current employees on prope rcustomer service practices
- Implement policies and protocols thatwill maintain future restauraoperations
Requirements and skills
- Proven work experience as a Restaurant. Manager,RestaurantGeneral Manager, HospitalityManager or similar role.
- Proven customer service experienceas a manager.
- Able to work during weekends andpublic holiday if require.
- Extensive food and beverage (F&B)knowledge, with ability to rememberand recall ingredients and dishes toinform customers await staff
- Familiarity with restaurant management software, like
- Open Table and Peach Works
- Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
- Acute financial management skills.
