Research Associate

Responsibilities

• Support senior analysts in conducting fundamental research across technology-related industries
• Assist in forming global research perspectives and identifying long-term sector trends
• Perform company/industry data collection, channel checks, and structured research assignments
• Assist with building and maintaining financial models (training will be provided if needed)
• Prepare research materials, charts, and briefing documents for internal discussions
• Join global company visits, industry conferences, and cross-regional field research activities
• Participate in cross-functional projects and contribute to operational discussions when required
• Proactively meet research timelines, ensuring high accuracy and attention to detail

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in STEM disciplines (e.g., IT, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Applied Math, etc.)
• Overseas MBA degree required
• Strong logical thinking, quantitative skills, and curiosity about technology and global industries
• No prior financial industry experience required, but interest in capital markets is essential
• Fluent in English; strong communication and presentation skills
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and willing to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with Excel and data tools; experience with Bloomberg/Wind is a plus but not mandatory
• Willing to travel to Mainland China for business trips
