The Diversity and Well-being Lab under the supervision of Prof. Winnie Mak at the Department of Psychology is currently recruiting a Product Team Lead for a digital mental health project, the Jockey Club TourHeart+ Project.
Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related social science fields (for Research Assistant) OR a Master's degree in an abovementioned discipline with at least four years of post-qualification research experience (for Research Associate) (ii) experience in UX or UI Design (iii) at least three years experience in product ownership or a related field (iv) proven track record of successfully launching digital products (v) a strong portfolio showcasing previous UX/UI work (vi) good leadership skill in managing a design team with a collaborative and inclusive approach (vii) expertise in standard design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, InVision, Adobe Creative Suite, and wireframing tools (viii) exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with all internal stakeholders and articulate design vision and strategies (ix) passion for mental health and improving access to resources and (x) good knowledge of mental health content and self-help resources desirable.
The appointee will carry the job title of Product Team Lead. Duties include (a) partnering with the Tech Team Lead, Tech Engineer, UX Designer-researcher, and internal content creation team to define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap (b) collaborating with an external tech development vendor to manage the development process for new features (c) conducting user research and analysis to understand user needs and pain points (d) prioritising product backlog items based on user needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility (e) working closely with the content team to optimize the design and presentation of new features for self-help resources (f) developing and maintaining user stories and acceptance criteria for new features (g) tracking and analysing product performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and (h) communicating product vision and roadmap to all stakeholders, including internal teams and external vendors.
