The School of Pharmacy under the Faculty of Medicine in CUHK is seeking an outstanding candidate to join Prof. Yin Ting Cheung%27s Research Team as Research Assistant, to support a project approved by the Chinese Medicine Development Fund (CMDF).

Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor%27s degree in healthcare-related or scientific discipline (e.g., Pharmacy, Nursing, Public Health, Chinese Medicine, Health Sciences) (ii) the ability to work independently and demonstrate excellent organisational skills (iii) strong communication skills, with fluency in written and verbal Cantonese and English and (iv) willingness to travel between the University and external study sites. Candidate with the following working experience is preferred: (1) experience in survey administration, particularly in conducting face-to-face interviews (2) experience working as a healthcare professional (not limited to Hong Kong) and (3) experience in using statistical software (e.g., SPSS/PASW, STATA, or SAS).

The appointee will be responsible for (a) participating in fieldwork and conducting research projects at various study sites, including but not limited to patient recruitment, obtaining informed consent, and managing survey administration. (b) performing administrative tasks and duties (c) assisting in supervising student projects and (d) performing other tasks as assigned.

Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for one year, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
