Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor%27s degree in science subjects, preferably with a Biomedical, Biological Science, or health-related qualification (ii) a strong sense of responsibility and carefulness in handling daily work (iii) good analytical and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently as well as with teammates and (iv) proficiency in Cantonese and good English writing skills. Applicants with one to two years of experience in managing clinical trials and research projects, or a certificate holder in Venipuncture/Phlebotomy with blood-taking experience will be an advantage. Applicants with less relevant experience may be considered for appointment as Junior Research Assistant.
The appointee will work in the Division of Rheumatology of CUHK in the Prince of Wales Hospital in Shatin. Duties include (a) assisting in organising clinical research projects (b) patient assessment (c) data documentation, analysis, and report writing, and (d) performing other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for one year, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.

The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) is a public research university in Shatin, Hong Kong, formally established in 1963 by a charter granted by the Legislative Council of Hong Kong. It is the territory's second-oldest university and was founded as a federation of three existing colleges – Chung Chi College, New Asia College and United College – the oldest of which was founded in 1949.
CUHK is organized into nine constituent colleges and eight academic faculties, and remains the only collegiate university in the territory.
