Our Family Office client is seeking an investment analyst to join their investment team, specializing in public market strategies and Fund of Funds (FoF) portfolio construction. This role is central to their global asset allocation process, focusing on identifying, evaluating, and monitoring top-tier external managers across liquid strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investment Research Support: Assist in the full-cycle due diligence process for public market investment vehicles and FoF strategies, including preliminary screening, data gathering, operational review, and ongoing portfolio performance tracking.
  • Market Analysis: Provide timely market research, data compilation, and macroeconomic updates to support senior team members in strategic asset allocation and tactical decision-making.
  • Ecosystem Engagement: Help build and maintain relationships with external partners, including investment counterparties, research vendors, and data providers, to facilitate information flow and opportunity sourcing.
  • Portfolio Tools & Analytics: Contribute to the development and maintenance of analytical tools, databases, and quantitative models to enhance research efficiency and portfolio monitoring capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher from a top-tier university concentration in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a quantitative discipline is strongly preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in investment research, manager selection, or portfolio management. Prior buy-side experience within a Fund of Funds (FoF), multi-manager platform, or institutional allocator is highly desirable.
  • Public Markets Acumen: Demonstrated track record of evaluating liquid public market strategies (e.g., long/short equity, global macro, event-driven, relative value).
  • Global Perspective: Overseas work experience and exposure to international financial markets are preferred.
  • Languages: Chinese and English are both required as working languages. Candidates must possess professional proficiency in both written and spoken forms.
  • Mindset: A performance-driven individual with a passion for generating absolute returns. Must be a proactive self-starter with a global outlook, capable of thriving in a results-oriented, collaborative, and objective-driven team environment.
