Relationship Manager

Experience Required: 4-8 years in institutional relationship management, corporate banking, or financial services

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Relationship Manager to manage and grow relationships with financial institutions including banks, NBFCs, insurance companies, and asset managers. The role involves driving business development, ensuring superior client servicing, and supporting strategic initiatives to strengthen institutional partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with financial institutions.
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling banking/financial products.
• Drive revenue growth through structured engagement with institutional clients.
• Act as the primary point of contact for client queries, escalations, and negotiations.
• Collaborate with product, credit, and operations teams to deliver seamless solutions.
• Monitor client portfolios, assess risk, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Conduct regular reviews and meetings with institutional clients to enhance engagement.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 8–12 years of experience in relationship management within financial institutions.
• Strong understanding of banking products, treasury, custody, and capital markets.
• Proven track record of managing institutional clients and achieving revenue targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and deliver client-centric solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in corporate banking, custody services, or institutional sales.
• Analytical skills to assess client portfolios and identify growth opportunities.
