Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Relationship Manager (Corporate & Commercial) role based in Johor Baharu. The Relationship Manager will manage and grow a portfolio of corporate and commercial clients, focusing on cross-border financing, trade financing, and related solutions that support export and investment activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the new deals origination and marketing. Thereafter on the follow-through process post deals origination on the documents required for credit processing/KYC process for new onboarding.
- Prepare credit proposal and ensure in-depth due diligence and credit assessment and engage with internal stakeholders for any issues/concerns raised by internal stakeholder and to assist the Team Head in the credit presentation.
- Prepare and ensure the Letter of Offer/Facility Letter issued within the timeline set by the Bank and to secure acceptance of Customer.
- Once acceptance secured to proceed with necessary action on the legal documentation. Thereafter, to vet the draft legal documents during the legal documentation stage.
- To perform annual review on all approved account on time and review on Watchlist (if any). This includes mid-year review/exercise or as and when as required by the Bank.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Accountancy, Banking or equivalent recognized University by MQA/JPA.
- Open for local candidates only.
- At least 5 Years experience in Credit analysis from Banking industry.
- Good in writing & presentation skill.
- Good knowledge in Banking i.e. product knowledge, business operation is an advantage.
- Strong relationship management and client-facing skills, including the ability to build and maintain long-term partnerships with corporate and commercial clients.
- Solid knowledge of corporate and commercial banking products, including trade finance, project and infrastructure financing, term loans, and working capital facilities.
- Familiarity with development finance, government-related schemes, and the Malaysian financial sector environment is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and additional languages is beneficial.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
