Regulatory Compliance Manager

We are partnering with a leading global financial services firm to appoint a Regulatory Compliance Manager to support its Asia‑Pacific business. This is a broad, hands‑on role responsible for managing regulatory, business and reputational risk across multiple regulated activities and jurisdictions.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will provide regulatory compliance advisory support to senior management, ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations, and help maintain an effective compliance framework across the region. The role also involves close interaction with regulators, managing audits and inquiries, conducting compliance training, and supporting ongoing monitoring and testing activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a key compliance adviser to senior leaders and business teams, supporting both ongoing operations and strategic initiatives across the Asia‑Pacific region
• Translate regulatory requirements into practical policies, procedures and governance standards, ensuring the compliance framework remains current, effective and aligned with regulatory expectations
• Maintain oversight of compliance processes, including regulatory licensing and engagement, implementation of regulatory change, conduct oversight
• Identify, evaluate and manage regulatory and conduct risks through periodic risk assessments, targeted reviews and the continual enhancement of controls

Requirements

• 7+ years of regulatory compliance experience within financial services
• Strong knowledge of APAC regulatory frameworks and experience working with regulators
• Technically strong, with the ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical, commercially workable solutions
• Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders and regulators
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast‑paced and matrixed environment
