Regional Technical Sales Representative (Capacitive Touch & Haptics)

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and technically proficient Regional Technical Sales Representative to drive revenue growth across key Asian markets. This role focuses on capacitive touch sensors and haptic technologies for new and existing consumers based in Asia. The ideal candidate has experience working with OEMs, ODMs, and supplychain partners in the region and thrives in a dynamic, highinnovation environment.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to meet quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities with OEMs, ODMs, and strategic customers.
  • Manage existing accounts to deepen relationships, forecast demand, and expand product adoption.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with customers and internal leadership.

Technical & Product Engagement

  • Understand customer product requirements and translate them into technical specifications for engineering teams.
  • Present and demonstrate capacitive touch, haptic actuation, and other Cirque technologies to technical and commercial stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with project management and engineering to support designin activities and customer prototypes.

Market & Competitive Intelligence

  • Monitor regional technology trends, competitive offerings, and pricing to inform goto-market strategies.
  • Provide insights on customer roadmaps, market shifts, and emerging application opportunities.

Operational & CrossFunctional Collaboration

  • Create technical collateral, presentations, and other materials for customer communication and outreach.
  • Coordinate with supply chain and operations to support forecasting, leadtime management, and customer delivery needs.
  • Ensure CRM accuracy, pipeline tracking, and timely reporting to sales leadership.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 36 years of sales or technical sales experience in electronics, sensors, components, or similar technologies.
  • Demonstrated success selling to OEMs and/or design houses in Asia (e.g., China, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, or Southeast Asia).
  • Strong understanding of electronic components, sensors, and HMI technologies (capacitive touch, haptics, actuators, etc.).
  • Ability to travel locally around Taipei up to 50-75%, regional travel once a quarter.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationshipbuilding skills.
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English; additional Asian languages are a plus (Korean, Japanese).

Preferred

  • Experience working with capacitive touch controllers, haptic actuators (piezo, LRA, ERM), or related module technologies.
  • Familiarity with consumer electronics design cycles and vendor qualification processes.
  • Background working with crossfunctional global teams in a matrixed company
