Job Description

This is an in-house (IA) role with 5 days work week.

Overall Description

As a member of the SEA, Korea, Taiwan and India Legal & Compliance regionalteam, you will assist the SVP Legal & Compliance and work closely with compliance managers and officers, legal members, internal auditors, finance teams andother teams in supporting the company's legal, compliance, and internal controlfunctions in the region, including Singapore.

The role ensures that business activities are conducted in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, company policies,and internal control requirements while helping to mitigate legal and operational risks.

Job Responsibilities

This includes assisting the Head of Legal and Compliance in carrying out the following:

Internal Control

Assist in maintaining and enhancing internalcontrol framework of the group:

1. Performperiodic control testing and process reviews to identify control weaknesses andimprovement opportunities.

2. Monitor adherence to internal policies, delegated authority limits, and operatingprocedures.

3. Trackand follow up on corrective actions arising from audits, reviews, and risk assessments.

4. Preparereports on control deficiencies and remediation progress.

5. Workwith team members to improve control deficiencies.

Legal Support

Assist in providing the following legalservices:

  1. Review, draft and maintain commercial contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
  2. Support legal and related documentation standardisation and other improvement projects across the region.
  3. Develop and implement structured legal risk assessment and escalation procedures across the region

4. Conductlegal research and provide preliminary legal advice on business matters.

5. Assist inmanaging disputes, claims, and legal matters.

6. Legal support,advice, guidance and training as may be required.

Compliance

1. Support implementation and monitoring of compliance programs, policies, and procedures.

2. Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on operations.

3. Assistin ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internalpolicies.

4. Support non-compliance case reviews.

5. Maintain compliance registers, records, and documentation.

6. Coordinate reporting and filings where required.

Others

1. Anyother tasks as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualification

A degree in business administration /accountancy / management / law

Requirements

. Experiencein internal audit or business process reviews with legal skills

. Ableto work as a team member and willingness to self-learn and up-skill

. Goodverbal and written skills in English

. Organized and detailed
