Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Regional Sales Director to lead and scale our regional sales operations across Southeast Asia and other key markets. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, developing high-performing sales teams, and building strategic partnerships within the education sector.
The ideal candidate possesses strong SaaS sales leadership experience, regional market exposure, and a proven track record in building scalable sales strategies and teams.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets across assigned markets
- Own sales pipeline management, forecasting, and regional sales performance metrics
- Drive new customer acquisition while increasing expansion opportunities within existing accounts
- Establish and monitor KPIs to ensure consistent achievement of business objectives
Regional Expansion & Market Development
- Identify market opportunities, customer segments, and expansion strategies across regional markets
- Develop go-to-market strategies for new products and services
- Build strong relationships with education operators, school groups, strategic partners, and industry stakeholders
- Conduct market intelligence analysis and competitor benchmarking
Team Management & Capability Building
- Lead, mentor, and develop regional sales managers and country-level sales teams
- Build scalable sales processes, playbooks, and performance frameworks
- Recruit, train, and manage high-performing sales professionals
- Foster a performance-driven and customer-centric sales culture
Strategic Partnerships & Stakeholder Management
- Build strategic relationships with enterprise clients, government-linked organizations, and channel partners
- Collaborate closely with product, customer success, operations, and marketing teams
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking engagements
Sales Operations & Reporting
- Drive CRM discipline, reporting accuracy, and forecasting processes
- Monitor regional sales funnel health and conversion performance
- Provide management with strategic recommendations and market insights
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related discipline
- Minimum 5-10 years of sales experience with at least 2 years in sales leadership roles
- Proven track record managing regional sales teams and exceeding revenue targets
- Experience in SaaS, EdTech, education technology, enterprise software, or B2B technology sales preferred
- Strong understanding of Southeast Asian markets and regional business practices
- Experience selling into education institutions, childcare, schools, or government sectors is advantageous
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Willingness to travel regionally when required
