Responsibilities
Team Intro
The Physical Security department is responsible for the overall security of the company's personnel, physical assets and facilities. Based on security risks, the team establishes and continuously improves security policies, procedures & standards, infrastructure, human and technical preventive measures, employee security awareness, alarm and incident response capabilities, etc., to safeguard the company's business operations worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Singapore GSOC Operation Centre for Asia Pacific, Europe alongside other regions; provide technical, operational, and people management oversight.
- Lead GSOC operations during incident and crisis response, coordinating with other parts of the Physical Security department (such as Security Operations and Crisis Management) and other stakeholders.
- Oversee tactical intelligence monitoring and analysis for regional security events, ensuring timely identification, assessment, escalation, and communication of incidents that may impact employees, offices, travel, or business operations.
- Ensure timely and effective response to EmergencySOS activations, alarm events, and other GSOC-managed incidents, with a focus on response quality and escalation discipline.
- Review, develop and strengthen GSOC processes and procedures, and drive implementation.
- Develop, implement and maintain a Quality Assurance (QA) framework consisting of standard operating procedures (SOPs), training and drilling for the Singapore GSOC Centre.
- Stay up to date with industry developments, including relevant digital tools, and drive testing, procurement and training where required to enhance the Singapore GSOC's capability.
- Able to travel for work about 20% of the time, including to other regions.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree; at least 5 years of experience in corporate security, GSOC operations, intelligence, crisis management, or a related field.
- Experience working in a Security Operations Centre, intelligence operations centre, crisis monitoring centre, or similar 24/7 operational environment.
- Strong understanding of tactical intelligence monitoring, incident assessment, escalation, and security reporting and experience leading or supporting security monitoring across multiple regions or geographies.
- Experience managing external vendors, outsourced teams, or third-party service providers in an operational environment, at least 2 years of experience managing a team of 10 or more people.
- Experience working with relevant digital tools, e.g., X Pro (formerly TweetDeck), Everbridge VCC, Crisis24 TopoONE, Factal, Dataminr, etc.
- Excellent verbal and written ability with strong stakeholder management skills across different regions and functions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment when dealing with complex, ambiguous or time-sensitive situations and able to work well in a dynamic, fast-paced, and multinational environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing regional or multi-regional GSOC operations, preferably covering APAC, EMEA, or other international markets.
- Hands-on experience in tactical intelligence monitoring, incident assessment, crisis response, and concise operational reporting.
- Experience with ESOS, mass notification, CCTV, access control, alarm response, and incident management workflows.
- Experience building and implementing SOPs, QA frameworks, training and drill programs, and using data-driven or AI-enabled tools to improve GSOC performance.
