Position Overview

The Regional Finance Manager is responsible for delivering financial oversight and analytical support across the assigned region. This includes preparing and presenting financial reports, interpreting key data for management, and recommending actionable strategies to drive business performance. The role also ensures adherence to corporate financial policies and compliance with relevant accounting standards.

Key responsibilities & accountability:

  • Prepare, monitor, and analyze regional budgets and forecasts; identify variances and recommend corrective actions.
  • Deliver accurate and timely financial reports, ensuring all submissions meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Conduct financial and operational analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Work closely with business and operations teams to drive financial planning and process improvements.
  • Maintain financial accuracy and integrity in accordance with corporate standards and local regulations.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes in coordination with accounting teams.
  • Review procurement, expenses, and contracts to ensure compliance and cost control.
  • Maintain adherence to internal controls, accounting standards, and external regulations.
  • Drive process improvements in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelors degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • Experience: FMCG industry experience is preferred. Minimum of 8-10 years of finance management experience with at least 3-5 years in manufacturing.
  • Experience: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems (SAP). Knowledge of IFRS or local GAAP.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Language: Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus depending on the region
