We are looking for a detail-oriented, hands-on, and proactive Regional Accounting Manager to join our Regional Finance team and strengthen our accounting and controllership function across APAC.
This role will play a key part in driving accounting accuracy, regional reporting, audit readiness, financial compliance, and process improvement across multiple markets. Beyond day-to-day accounting operations, this person will help stabilize and improve legacy accounting processes, support regional consolidation efforts, and partner closely with local finance teams and leadership to build stronger financial governance across the group.

What You'll Be Doing
Regional Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Review monthly financial statements across multiple APAC entities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely reporting
- Manage and oversee month-end and year-end closing processes across regional markets
- Support regional financial consolidation and reporting for management and stakeholders
- Ensure accounting treatments are aligned with company policies and applicable accounting standards
Audit, Compliance & Tax
- Lead and coordinate statutory audits across multiple entities and markets
- Partner closely with external auditors, tax advisors, and local accounting firms
- Support regional tax compliance matters, including corporate tax, indirect tax, and regulatory filings
- Strengthen accounting controls, documentation, and compliance processes across markets
Process Improvement & Legacy Cleanup
- Identify accounting gaps, legacy issues, and operational inefficiencies, and drive improvement initiatives
- Improve finance SOPs, reconciliation processes, reporting workflows, and accounting controls
- Support system/process enhancements to improve scalability and reporting visibility
- Work closely with regional and local stakeholders to standardize finance practices where applicable
Regional Collaboration & Business Support
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, HR, and business teams to ensure smooth financial processes
- Support ad hoc financial analysis, management requests, and regional projects
- Assist in regional finance operational planning and governance initiatives
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years of relevant accounting, audit, or controllership experience
- Prior experience in audit/accounting firms is strongly preferred
- Regional or multi-entity accounting exposure is highly advantageous
- Strong understanding of accounting standards, financial reporting, reconciliations, and audit processes
- Experience handling tax and statutory compliance matters across multiple markets is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve accounting inconsistencies
- Comfortable working in fast-paced and evolving environments with legacy operational challenges
- Ability to independently drive process improvements and strengthen operational discipline
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively across regional teams and stakeholders
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
- Good communication skills in English to support collaboration with regional teams and external partners
- Exposure to startup, tech, media, platform, or high-growth environments is a plus
- Experience supporting group-level treasury operations, cash flow planning, banking coordination, or regional funding arrangements is a plus
