We are looking for a Senior Android App Engineer to develop a native Android application running primarily on tablet devices for our enterprise networking products. You will be responsible for designing and developing a reliable, high-performance Android application that provides an intuitive interface for device management, network configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain a native Android application for tablet devices.
• Design and implement intuitive tablet user experiences for network configuration, monitoring, device management, and troubleshooting.
• Build reliable and responsive application features with a strong focus on performance, stability, and maintainability.
• Work with backend and embedded teams to integrate RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and device communication interfaces.
• Implement device onboarding and local connectivity workflows, such as BLE, QR-code scanning, local network discovery, and device provisioning.
• Design clean and maintainable application architecture and write reusable, testable code.
• Troubleshoot complex Android application issues and optimize application performance and reliability.
• Participate in architecture discussions, technical design, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with QA, product designers, backend/cloud engineers, and embedded engineers throughout the product development lifecycle.

【Essential Requirements】

• 8+ years of software development experience, with extensive experience in Android application development.
• Strong understanding of native Android application development, Android SDK, application lifecycle, and platform architecture.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including application architecture, modular design, concurrency, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Experience building and maintaining production-quality Android applications.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, WebSockets, JSON, protobuf, or other client-server communication technologies.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
• Ability to independently drive technical design and solve complex application-level problems.
  
  

【Preferred Qualifications】

• Experience developing native Android applications using Kotlin.
• Experience developing applications involving Wi-Fi or BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy).
• Experience with device discovery, provisioning, pairing, or local device communication.
• Experience developing Android applications optimized for tablet or large-screen devices.
• Experience in networking, IoT, device management, or enterprise networking products is preferred.
