job Description

  • Maximize the performance of new products through equipment upgrades, new materials implementation, and processing optimization.
  • Design overall scale-up process from beaker level in laboratory scale to high volume manufacturing at customer site for printed circuit board (PCB) and other metallization applications.
  • Explore new equipment technology and methodologies to tackle customers critical issues through patent landscape analysis and market survey with logical experiment design, data analysis, and result interpretation.
  • Conduct lab experiments, data analysis and documentation on findings.
  • Actively participate in EH&S (environment, health and safety) programs to ensure high standard of safety.
  • Excute capital project related to pilot line equipment and facilities.

required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Material science required.
  • Experience in PCB industry at least 5 years is required.
  • Six Sigma and DMAIC project management skills and proficient in statistical data analysis using Excel, JMP, or Minitab .
  • Occasionally travel to customer sites in Asia and in the US for on-site tests and ramp-up of new and existing products and continuously improvement projects .
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively within the organization.
  • Independent researcher, as well as team work is required.
  • Fluent in English & Mandarin.
  • Good computer proficiency.
