Overview Of The Position
As an R&D Engineering Supervisor, you'll supervise the complete development cycle for automotive components, managing design reviews, driving NPI processes, implementing verification methods, and guiding your engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Discuss mold design with suppliers to ensure that the mold design meets requirements.
- Responsible for the design and development of aluminum die-casting and stamping products DFMEA/2D/3D, supplier mold review (DFM/Simulation) and mass production new product introduction (NPI).
- Conduct design review and progress tracking with foreign customers to ensure that product design meets their needs.
- Select key components and review engineering changes.
- Establish and manage core technology and R&D teams to ensure technical strength and innovation capabilities.
- Review the R&D design of automotive components and control the R&D progress.
- Review R&D costs and achievement of management objectives.
- Develop and implement performance verification and testing methods for product components.
- Assist in analyzing major quality issues and promote product introduction into mass production.
- Have more than 5 years of experience in institutional design.
- Familiar with the application of structural stress simulation software, such as FEM.
- Experience in system factories is preferred.
Job Requirements
- Familiar with APQP quality management and document production of IATF 1694-
- Familiar with the single and integrated design of aluminum die-casting shells, copper busbars, wiring harnesses, etc.
- Familiar with vehicle environment and durability requirements and verification.
- Familiar with the analysis, simulation and design of single and integrated problems such as structure, vibration, heat transfer and electrical safety.
- Good English skills, able to conduct engineering meetings and document communications with foreign customers.
- Have working experience in surface treatment and structural parts design.
- More than 5 years of experience in leading a team and developing products.
- Mechanical engineering background is preferred.
- Proficient in using CATIA, AutoCAD, Pro/E and other engineering design and drawing software.
- Candidates with CAE experience or who can receive CAE training will be given priority for interview.
