Job Description
- Define hardware and software requirements based on customer needs across mechanics, electronics, software, motion control, and vision systems.
- Integrate and validate vision systems, including feasibility studies, specifications, qualifications, and documentation.
- Analyse performance data, troubleshoot vision-related issues, and implement continuous improvements.
- Design and execute experiments to optimise parameters and production sequences.
- Collaborate on camera technologies, vision algorithms, calibration, and process enhancements.
- Qualify new developments at machine level and provide technical support to internal and external stakeholders.
- Work closely with global R&D teams and present findings effectively.
The Successful Applicant
- Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field (BS/MS/PhD).
- Minimum 3 years experience in semiconductor equipment or similar industries.
- Proficient in vision algorithms, Python/MATLAB, and scientific tools.
- Knowledge of optics, illumination, electronics, motion control, and measurement systems.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills; intermediate in English.
- Innovative, systematic, and solution-oriented with flexibility under pressure.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to Europe and Asia production sites.
