Role Summary:
The Quality Control Inspection Specialist is responsible for supporting engine maintenance quality assurance activities through critical item inspections, on-site surveillance, internal audits, receiving inspections following PME tool calibration, and maintenance work order inspections. This role also supports quality training initiatives, including serving as an instructor for human factors refresher training, and helps ensure compliance with applicable maintenance procedures, regulatory requirements, and internal quality standards.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections of critical items during engine maintenance
- Conduct daily on-site surveillance and work order inspections
- Review maintenance documentation for inspection readiness and compliance
- Verify adherence to quality procedures, regulations, and work standards
- Confirm disposition of scrapped parts and inspect engines before release
- Prepare and enter inspection and surveillance reports into the system
- Analyze quality data and defect trends to support corrective actions and continuous improvement
- Perform internal audits and receiving inspections after PME tool calibration
- Support human factors refresher training and maintain inspection-related records
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university
- Relevant years of experience working in the aviation industry, prior experience in Quality Control
- English TOEIC score of 500 or above
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid CAA B1.1 license without restriction codes 5 and 6, or Repairman License
- Completion of TPM-required training courses(for internal candidates only)
- Relevant technical training, such as engine overhaul and problem-solving
