Quality Engineer

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Software QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software quality assurance, with a focus on creating and implementing test plans, test cases, and test automation scripts. The candidate should also have experience reviewing requirement documents and design documents to ensure test coverage and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Review requirement documents and design documents to understand the scope of testing
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure high-quality software releases
• Perform manual and automated testing as needed
• Identify, record, and track bugs to resolution
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
• Conduct security testing to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security standards
• Provide input and feedback on software design and functionality to improve overall product quality
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in software testing methodologies

Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance
• Strong programming skills, with experience in Robot Framework considered an advantage
• Experience with codeless automation tools like Katalon Studio is a plus
• Familiarity with security testing methodologies and tool
• Experience with API testing and/or database testing is highly preferred.
• Experience with scaling and performance testing is an advantage
• Agile experience is an advantage
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and writer
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skill
