Our client is looking for a Quality Control Inspector to support quality assurance activities for cosmetic products manufactured by Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs). This role focuses on conducting onsite inspections, reviewing quality documentation, identifying nonconformities, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring products comply with company specifications and industry quality standards. The position also requires international travel to manufacturing sites.
Responsibilities
• Perform onsite inspections at Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) to ensure components and finished goods meet company specifications.
• Review and verify certifications, specifications, and documentation for compliance with design and quality requirements.
• Develop and update inspection instructions, procedures, and technical documentation.
• Use precision measuring instruments, including calipers, to verify product conformity against drawings and specifications.
• Document inspection results and maintain records within the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Identify non conformities and communicate findings to the appropriate supervisor or manager.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and quality processes.
• Participate in root cause analysis and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to resolve quality issues.
Requirements
• College degree or above.
• Fluent English communication skills, including speaking, reading, writing, and the ability to prepare reports independently.
• Understanding of statistical sampling methods.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Working knowledge of cGMP and ISO 22716 guidelines.
• Ability to travel internationally for onsite inspections, including Korea, Indonesia, and other locations.
• Willingness to travel for extended periods of up to approximately 7 days.
