We+ is supporting an insurance client in Taiwan strengthening quality assurance across its business-line technology projects.
We are looking for a Quality Assurance / Test Analyst to ensure testing and delivery meet business requirements, maintain internal control standards, and support the company's information security objectives — with a particular focus on mobile insurance digital platforms.
⇒ Main Responsibilities
- Ensure proper testing and handover to BAU for business-line projects, delivering adequate and sustainable solutions within agreed quality, time, and cost constraints — including maintaining the knowledge, experience, and skills required, particularly for mobile insurance digital platforms.
- Master business processes and testing tools to perform efficient testing (including regression and performance testing) and support proper production handover.
- Liaise with business users / business analysts to define testing scope, coverage, and delegation of authority.
- Review bug-fix solutions and implementation cost estimates with IT.
- Prepare handover documentation and training materials.
- Ensure delegation letters are obtained from relevant departments for delegated testing scope.
- Ensure system change delivery meets business requirement specifications without degrading existing functions — identifying impacted functions, defining test strategy and plans, and aligning acceptance criteria with business users for go-live.
- Maintain accuracy, adequacy, and consistency with the internal control framework — keeping procedures, job descriptions, operating modes, control points, and project documentation current, and reporting incidents promptly.
- Support company security objectives — maintaining awareness of security policies, contributing to BCP documentation, training, and testing, and reporting abnormal situations without delay.
⇒ Qualifications & Experience
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, or Information Technology.
- 3+ years of experience in system/business requirements analysis or functional testing, or 3+ years of insurance business experience (e.g. digital platforms such as mobile insurance) with an interest in testing.
- Good logical thinking and communication/coordination skills.
- Proactive attitude and strong learning ability.
- Team-oriented, with flexibility to take on tasks as assigned.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Fluent in English; conversational Taiwanese an advantage.
- LOMA 280 (Principles of Insurance) / LOMA 290 (Operating Insurance Companies) certification.
