TrendAI™ Vision One | Sovereign and Private Cloud (V1SPC)

【Overview】Vision One for Sovereign and Private Cloud (V1SPC) enables organizations to run Trend Micro's security platform within their own controlled environments. As a V1SPC intern, you will ensure product stability across various cloud platforms (such as RedHat OpenShift, AWS, GCP, and Tanzu) while driving the transition toward full test automation.

【Learning & Mentorship】You will work closely with experienced engineers who will mentor and guide you through the software development life cycle (SDLC) of large-scale cloud products. Through hands-on involvement in V1SPC deployment and testing, you will learn how to collaborate with global engineering teams (Taiwan, China, and Canada) and gain practical experience in evolving manual testing into highly automated workflows.

【What You'll Work On】

• QA Automation Implementation:Develop and execute QA automation scripts (Integration, API, and E2E tests). You will be responsible for transforming manual test scripts into a near-fully automated testing process.

• AI-Assisted Engineering:Explore and utilize AI tools to assist in generating scripts for data collection and streamlining testing workflows.

• Multi-Platform Deployment:Assist in system installation and deployment across various environments, including RedHat OpenShift (on-premise), AWS (EKS), GCP (GKE), and Tanzu (on-premise).

• Collaboration & Debugging:Work with software engineers to integrate test automation into the SDLC. Collaborate with global teams in Taiwan, China, and Canada to debug and resolve issues discovered during testing.

• Business Logic Validation:Follow established test cases to perform functional testing of website business logic, ensuring seamless user interaction and service reliability.

【Qualifications】

• Education:Third-year students or above in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical fields.

• Development Skills:Proficiency in Pythondevelopment.

• Linux Proficiency:Experience of using Linuxenvironments.

• English Proficiency:Ability to read and write English technical documentation. Verbal communication skills are a plus.

【Nice to Have】

• Experience with Cloud platforms(AWS, GCP, or Azure) and Databasemanagement.

• Experience utilizing AI toolsto assist in programming or troubleshooting.

• Experience in web functional testing and executing test cases.

【Program Timeline & Availability】

• Duration:At least 6 months. (Start before June will be preferred.)

• Work Schedule:Minimum 2.5 working days per week, including at least 2 days onsiteper week.
