Projects Senior Associate, Singapore Business Development

The Business Development and Partnerships teams at Shopee are dynamic and energetic. The teams are always looking to acquire business opportunities to drive Shopee to be the top e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan. The aim of the Business Development and Partnership teams is to provide Shopee's buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices.

As a Projects Associate, you will be allocated to a specific team such as Shopee Mall & Marketing Solutions, Revenue & Seller Programs or Commercial Programs. The exact team you will focus on will be determined prior to your joining, based on business needs and your personal strengths.

Job Description

• Responsible for the success of Shopee's key special projects
• Projects include the development of new business initiatives and productivity improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and execute projects to realise topline growth and cost savings
• Track programme performance metrics and provide regular reports to management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or any other relevant quantitative or business-related discipline
• Demonstrate ability to think critically and solve complex, ambiguous problems, with the ability to interpret data and identify trends
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders, with strong ownership and follow‑through
• At least 3 years of total work experience, including 1-2 years in project management, strategy, or e‑commerce related roles
• Experience/proficiency in developing AI agents/AI tools is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to explain insights and decisions to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
