Job Summary
Lead and manage shipyard projects by coordinating site operations, overseeing vendors, ensuring contract compliance, and resolving technical issues to deliver projects on schedule and meet client requirements.
Responsibilities
- Monitor project milestones and track progress against schedules to ensure timely contractual delivery
- Direct and coordinate daily on-site operations and logistics to maintain efficient workflow
- Supervise and manage suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure quality and compliance
- Oversee contract administration including compliance, scope management, and commercial deliverables
- Act as the primary liaison for clients to communicate project status and address requirements
- Lead the project team to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues promptly
- Serve as the final decision-maker for all major site operations and personnel management
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a shipyard project manager
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or related technical field
- Knowledge of newbuilding ship projects
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Willingness and ability to work full-time in Batam, Indonesia
