Job Overview
We are looking for a strong, analytical, and self-driven Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of an Enterprise Content Management (ECM) / Document Management System (DMS) project.
The successful candidate will be responsible for project planning, stakeholder management, vendor coordination, data migration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live stabilisation. You will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and end users to ensure successful delivery within scope, timeline, budget, and quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full project lifecycle for ECM implementation, from initiation and planning through execution, testing, deployment, go-live, and post-production stabilisation.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and resource allocation.
- Engage with business stakeholders to gather, validate, prioritise, and document requirements aligned with project objectives.
- Collaborate with IT teams and vendors on solution design, system configuration, integrations, and data migration.
- Lead and coordinate data migration activities, including content assessment, data mapping, migration planning, validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
- Plan and oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, execution support, defect tracking, and closure.
- Coordinate go-live and deployment activities, ensuring all technical, business, operational, and support readiness criteria are met.
- Drive user adoption and readiness activities, including training, communications, onboarding materials, and business engagement.
- Proactively manage project risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, scope changes, and delivery milestones.
- Manage vendor performance and deliverables, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, SLAs, technical specifications, and business requirements.
- Prepare and present structured project status reports, dashboards, RAID logs, and progress updates to project sponsors, senior management, and key stakeholders.
- Facilitate project governance meetings, steering committees, workshops, and stakeholder reviews.
- Ensure ECM solutions comply with organizational governance, information security, data protection, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage project budgets, resources, timelines, and delivery priorities to ensure successful project outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in IT project management, digital transformation, or technology implementation projects.
- Experience in Enterprise Content Management (ECM), Document Management Systems (DMS), workflow, or digital transformation projects is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering at least 3 major projects end-to-end.
- Strong experience managing the complete project lifecycle, including planning, requirements, implementation, testing, migration, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence decisions and manage expectations across business and technology teams.
- Proven vendor management experience, including SLA monitoring, deliverable management, contract coordination, and escalation management.
- Strong capabilities in project planning, budget management, risk management, issue management, and change control.
- Experience managing data migration and reconciliation activities.
- Strong understanding of UAT, defect management, release management, and go-live readiness.
- Analytical and structured approach with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and facilitation skills.
- Experience working in a governed enterprise environment with security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or other recognized project management certification will be an advantage.
